I build AI-native products and scalable distributed systems. I’m a backend and distributed systems engineer focused on correctness, reliability, and real-world impact. I design event-driven architectures where scale, data consistency, and failure handling are first-class concerns. Currently, I’m building Indie Genie Labs — a studio focused on AI-native consumer products at the intersection of physical and mental performance. Products: • The Running Genie — an AI running coach that generates adaptive training plans using LLMs + Strava data • Gratitude Genie — a mental wellness journaling app with 1,000+ users and a 4.7 star rating • Productivity Genie (upcoming) — an AI accountability and focus companion designed to improve daily execution Building independently has sharpened my product intuition and execution speed. I enjoy owning the full lifecycle: idea → architecture → implementation → launch → user feedback → iteration. I believe strong systems and strong product thinking must evolve together. I hold a Master’s in Computer Science from IIT Hyderabad, where I worked across Machine Learning, NLP, Algorithms, and Systems. I was awarded the Reliance Foundation Scholarship in AI & Computer Science as one of the top postgraduate students nationally. Technically, I work across distributed systems design, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL, Python, LLM integrations, and production system operations. Outside of tech, I’m a long-distance runner and ultramarathoner. Endurance sport shapes how I build: long-term thinking, disciplined execution, and compounding progress. Currently exploring SDE-2 / Senior Backend / Distributed Systems roles — especially teams building AI-native systems, infrastructure, or ambitious consumer platforms.
