About

For the past two decades, I’ve been building and leading engineering organizations that keep identity systems secure, resilient, and always available—even at global, internet‑scale volumes. My career has centered around one mission: Make identity invisible, reliable, and trusted—no matter how big the customer base grows or how complex the threat landscape becomes. At AWS, I led engineering for Amazon Cognito Identity Pools, a platform that processes 100B+ token requests every single day. Under my leadership, we achieved 99.9999% availability, delivered full region parity across 30+ AWS regions, and launched new capabilities that strengthened security, improved customer visibility, and unlocked new revenue streams. Before AWS, I spent 16 years at TELUS scaling identity platforms for millions of customers. I grew the Identity organization from 15 to 60+ engineers, modernized CIAM and Workforce Identity systems, delivered 99.999% uptime, and built a culture where teams consistently outperformed expectations. Across every role, the pattern is the same: Build high‑trust, high‑ownership engineering teams Deliver platforms that never go down Modernize architecture while reducing operational burden Turn identity into a strategic business enabler—not a bottleneck Drive clarity, alignment, and execution across engineering, product, and security I’m at my best when the stakes are high, the scale is massive, and the mission is critical. If you’re building or modernizing an identity platform—CIAM, IAM, threat detection, zero‑trust, or high‑scale distributed systems—I’m always open to conversations.
