As a 3rd generation F&B entrepreneur, my journey began with a B.Com (Honours) from the esteemed Shri Ram College of Commerce in 2020. However, instead of taking the conventional route, I chose to leave behind a lucrative consulting job at Bain & Co. and join my family business. I was fortunate to apply and get in @ Columbia Deferred MBA as well as ISB Young Leader’s programme. However, I took the leap of faith to build a consumer facing business in India instead of pursuing a solid MBA degree. With 3 generations of expertise in the food industry, starting from flour milling moving towards manufacturing roasted, millet-based namkeen, we are pioneers in innovating “better for you” and delicious food products, long before they became a trend. Today, our products under the brand Roasty Tasty are exported to 20 countries and are available in both general and modern trade channels across India. With every munch into our crunchy roasted namkeen, we are on a mission to make snacking indulgent yet smarter! From millet chikki, to millet upma & oats - our penchant for quality & innovation is reflected in the love and loyalty consumers have for our products. My passion extends beyond the boardroom. As a young entrepreneur in a boot-strapped family owned business, I'm always looking forward to learning more about the changing landscape of Indian consumption patterns and retail business, especially in the food and FMCG sectors.
