• TL for various performance optimizations on ARCore and Pixel 4 face unlock
• Designed on device, depth algorithm to run on the Pixel Visual Core (PVC, a vectorized DSP).
• Hand-written assembly which leveraged the PVC's vectorized hardware intrinsics and inline VLIW made improvements of 2-3x in latency and power. Up to 80x improvements some parts of the algorithm.
• Wrote a custom scheduler for the depth pipeline on ARCore to run on low end devices. Supported realtime monocular 3d reconstruction on devices like Google Nexus.

• LifePlusPlus is a year long Computer Science bootcamp that focuses on building strong fundamentals in order to better prepare non-traditional hires to enter the industry.
• Phase 1 consists of introducing C++ syntax via guiding the students to implementing their own versions of the data structures. This also introduces them to tools like git, task management, and stand up.
• Phase 2 consists of projects in small groups. These also begin their first look at other programming languages web development projects. These focus on teaching stronger design and communication principals, along with how to work on larger projects.
• Phase 3 consists of interview prep along with projects targeted to the specific interest of the student. These focus on teaching whiteboard programming, and dealing with the stress of timed program. The projects focus on helping the student deep dive into an area of interest and be learn to independently leverage the plethora of information available on any subject.
