About

At Clinical Accelerator, we specialize in conducting clinical investigations of innovative medical devices across all major therapeutic areas, with a particular focus on the cardiovascular field. Our goal is to accelerate clinical development programs of international medical technology companies by facilitating early entry into the clinic and ensuring fast and efficient implementation of First-in-Human (FIH) and Early Feasibility Studies (EFS). Additionally, we are actively involved in late-stage pivotal studies. Clinical Accelerator offers cost-effective budgets, compact timelines for clinical development and a commitment to bringing much-needed innovative medical devices to the market fast. We conduct our clinical studies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Central Asia, including countries such as Georgia, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Poland, Armenia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria etc. These regions offer a favourable regulatory environment for medical device investigations, particularly for early human feasibility studies, and feature short start-up timelines. Clinical Accelerator collaborates with a network of highly competent investigators and many excellent research sites, many of which have been inspected by the FDA. We offer our medical device sponsors a broad range of clinical trial services, including study feasibility assessments, regulatory and ethics submissions, site selection and monitoring, study co-ordination and site management, safety reporting, data management and biostatistics, quality assurance and study logistics. To ensure timely and effective patient recruitment, we deploy dedicated feasibility and patient enrolment support specialists who are focused on achieving enrollment targets within fixed, short timelines. In select locations with offer specialized Site Management Organization (SMO) services using our own professional site co-ordinators. Clinical Accelerator is an academically linked clinical CRO. We were born in academia and are proud to work in close collaboration with many leading international key opinion leaders in the cardiovascular and other major therapeutic fields. We look forward to accelerating your next clinical project!

  • As a cardiologist and imaging specialist, I was involved in clinical cardiology and cardiovascular imaging work using echocardiography and cardiac MRI.
  • As a clinical cardiovascular researcher working with Professor John Cleland, I participated in many research projects in various cardiac indications, primarily in heart failure. I received research grants from the Welcome Trust, British Heart Foundation and other funding bodies for my academic clinical research and participated as an investigator in many commercial clinical trials of novel drugs and medical devices in the cardiovascular field.
  • My main research interests include chronic heart failure, left ventricular remodeling, HFpEF, and pharmaceutical and medical device interventions aimed at these conditions.
  • I am also interested in cardiac aging and mechanisms of aging in general, and in scientifically based anti-aging interventions.
