During my time at Ucentix, I had the chance to own and lead the entire Groups feature from ideation all the way to handoff. It wasn’t just about screens and flows, but about shaping how people connect and interact inside the product, ensuring that collaboration felt natural rather than forced. Alongside this, I spearheaded the redesign of filters and intro flows, because honestly jab tak discovery smooth nahi hoti aur first impressions engaging nahi hote, user ka connect banana mushkil hota hai. These redesigns made the product easier to navigate and helped users engage more deeply with the platform.
Another big piece of my work was taking the product onto mobile designs. Translating something built for desktop into a mobile-first experience is never just shrink and fit, it’s about rethinking how interactions work when the screen size, gestures, and context change completely. I worked on making that transition seamless so ki user ko lage hi nahi ki woh ek different platform pe hai. Desktop, tablet ya phone, the experience needed to feel consistent, familiar, and fluid across all.
Overall, my role here gave me the chance to balance big picture thinking with pixel level detail, and to design in a way that improved not just how the product looked, but how people truly used it.
