Hi! 👋🏻 I'm Sasha Zabegalin, a self-described Self-Expression Technologist. My work sits at the intersection of fashion, art, and technology. I call myself a Self-Expression Technologist because I am fascinated by the tools we use to define who we are in a digital age. My career has been a continuous experiment in blending technical fluency with artistic intuition. It started with a degree in HCI & Design from UC San Diego and evolved into a practice that spans speculative design, creative engineering, community building, and so much more. I have worn many hats, from the first AI Creative Technologist at a San Diego Creative Agency, to leading Socials at Artist and the Machine, to being the first Forward Deployed Creative at FLORA. Along the way, I've freelanced for industry giants like Meta, Google, Snapchat, TikTok and plenty of startups in the space. My work has been featured in Forbes, on the cover of GLITCH Magazine, and I've even spoken at AWE, LA Fashion Week, and a United Nations town hall in San Diego. Through it all, my mission remains clear: to set the blueprint for what the next generation of creatives looks like and to make technology more human, expressive, and radically personal.
