• 6G OTA (Over-The-Air) project:
• Designed, refactored, and productized performance-critical C++ components in a large simulation codebase, focusing on
• state-machine correctness, execution latency, memory safety, and maintainability, with validation through unit tests,
• regression suites, and CI pipelines prior to customer delivery.
• Ideated and implemented an efficient C++ algorithm for CQI and RI computation based on inputs such as pathloss, MCS, BLER, previous reported values of CQI and RI etc. This led to an increase in DL throughput by about 40%.
• Built intra-frequency and inter-cell handover logic at Layer-2, consuming real-time Layer-1 measurements to improve mobility robustness and reduce handover failures in UE simulation.
• Played a key role in productizing high performance C++ modules for Layer-2 UESim, which is currently being showcased to customers at sites in Japan. Received positive feedback for its strong performance during mobility tests.
• Debugged production and customer-reported defects by tracing deep C++ execution paths, analyzing large log datasets, and isolating failures across module boundaries; delivered fixes validated through CI, GTest/GMock, and system-level testing.
• Recognized with Rising Star of the Quarter and multiple Spot Awards for performance optimization, code quality, and reliable delivery.
