About

Most AI strategies fail because they're built by people who've never shipped a production system. I've spent 23 years building software and 9 years deep in AI/ML. From writing embedded systems at Panasonic, to leading data science at Amazon (where my team's models drove €68M in annual savings), to now working with Google Cloud's largest enterprise customers on Generative AI. That hands-on experience is what makes my strategic advice different. I build the systems, hit the production failures, and then advise leaders on what actually works. I've helped customers scale from $90K/month to $4.5M/month in AI revenue. I've authored the reference architecture that Google's own teams now use for real-time AI. And I've seen why most enterprise AI projects never make it past the demo. What I focus on: → AI Agent Architecture: Designing, building, and deploying multi-agent systems that work reliably in production. I don't do toy demos. I build real systems with real failure modes, real guardrails, and real business outcomes. → AI Strategy & Enterprise Transformation: Helping leadership teams move past the hype cycle. AI adoption is an identity problem. The organisations that succeed are the ones that help their people redefine their professional value, not just adopt new tools. → Agentic Commerce, the next frontier: AI agents that transact, negotiate, and purchase on behalf of users and businesses. I'm writing and speaking extensively on the protocols and architectures that will power machine-to-machine commerce. Where I share this thinking: I teach Generative AI Product Design at London Business School. I'm co-authoring a book on real-time AI agent systems for O'Reilly Media. I publish regularly on O'Reilly Radar and on LinkedIn, where my content has reached 4.3M impressions and 1.5M people in the past year alone. My technical articles have accumulated over 500K views. My position is simple: AI is software. Treat it with engineering discipline, and it will transform your business. Treat it like a magic trick, and you will waste millions. If you're looking for: 🎤 A keynote speaker who can make AI real for a leadership audience — let's talk. 💬 An advisory conversation about your AI strategy — I'm always open to connecting. 📩 DM me or check out my website: heikohotz.com
