• As an AI Software Development Intern at Eduplus Campus (UDNAV Software Services Pvt. Ltd.) from June 2024 to December 2024, I worked on the "Student's Scanned Handwritten Answer-Sheet Checking System" an AI-powered solution designed to streamline and automate the evaluation process of handwritten exam papers in educational institutions. The project involved developing AI models to process scanned answer sheets, extract handwritten text, and map it to corresponding marks based on predefined rubrics. I utilized technologies such as Python, OpenCV, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning frameworks like TensorFlow and scikit-learn to build the system. My role focused on model training, performance optimization, and integrating the solution with the broader system architecture. Through this project, we successfully demonstrated an AI-based approach that significantly reduces manual workload and enhances grading accuracy in large-scale educational assessments. This experience deepened my understanding of AI applications in EdTech and strengthened my problem-solving and collaboration skills.
