I wrote open source code for 15 years before my first job - an ML engineer at AWS. In 2014, I teamed up with Geet, my then colleague at Amazon, to create RideSafe: a women’s safety app which detects real-time route deviation. It turned out that restaurants and delivery companies were using our app to track their riders. We knew we had stumbled on to something special, and in 2015, we left our jobs to create Locus. At Locus, we solve problems. Big problems.
