Nishith Rastogi — CTO
I wrote open source code for 15 years before my first job - an ML engineer at AWS. In 2014, I teamed up with Geet, my then colleague at Amazon, to create RideSafe: a women’s safety app which detects real-time route deviation. It turned out that restaurants and delivery companies were using our app to track their riders. We knew we had stumbled on to something special, and in 2015, we left our jobs to create Locus. At Locus, we solve problems. Big problems. Today, our order-to-delivery real-world ready dispatch management platform is built to make every delivery better than the last: lower carbon footprints, happier customers that receive their orders quicker, analytics that promotes efficiency, and thousands of drivers and riders getting a chance to go home earlier every day. That’s why we do what we do. At Locus, we love thought diversity. Whoever you are, whichever field you have excelled at before: as long as you believe in what we do, join us for the ride.
