• I led Engineering through Private Equity acquisition and exit over a period of 3+ years. During this time we transformed the company into a profitable, ARR growth business which was acquired by Progress Software. As part of this journey I worked closely with the exec team and PE partners to drive focus on customers, product and culture.

• Laser focus on MarkLogic’s multi-model database for large deployments with investments in security, cloud deployment (Kubernetes) and scalability.

Responsible for the technology direction on strategic initiatives relating to performance, reliability and scalability of a Cloud based real-time, multi-sided financial trading platform.
• Key initiatives:
• Built the platform which multiplied revenue from 5M-45M over a period of 4 years..
• Built out a data architecture for updating the monitoring and analytics data platforms in near real-time. Designed and developed low latency data architectures which are used by the largest financial institutions in the world.
• Established Scrum process with high degree of QA Automation and moved the team to a two week development and release cadence.
• Worked closely with customer success to actively manage top 10 customers for the company.

• Worked on Splunk's Enterprise team, and dealt with issues that were required to make Splunk scale to large Enterprise installations.

• Rates distribution servers for highly optimized distribution of market data. Java, NIO.
• Pub-sub messaging framework that also provided a very thin, highly optimized HTTP layer which enabled thin(browser) clients to maintain messaging connections over HTTP(s) to send/receive messages. Very similar to what WebSockets do today in HTML5. Java.
• Built a cluster of highly available Java servers that connect providers of liquidity to users of banks that are interested in trading with them. Java.
