I am Dunama Dahiru a backend-focused Software Engineer and AI education advocate working at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and youth innovation. My core strength is building and structuring systems whether that means developing backend architectures, designing scalable program frameworks, or coordinating multi-stakeholder innovation initiatives. Technically, I focus on: • Backend development and API architecture • Scalable web applications • System design and operational workflows • AI-assisted development and automation I am currently deepening my expertise in AI and automation through the TS Academy AI & Automation Program, strengthening my ability to design intelligent systems and automated workflows that scale. Beyond engineering, I lead initiatives that expand access to practical AI education. Through programs like the NextGen Summit, I have convened 20 secondary schools across Adamawa State Nigeria, introducing students and educators to applied AI and hands-on digital product development. But the mission is bigger than one event. My work is centered on a broader question? How do we build an ecosystem where young people, developers, and institutions create technology not just consume it? I am particularly interested in: • AI infrastructure for emerging markets • Developer ecosystems in Northern Nigeria • Education-to-innovation pipelines • Technology that scales beyond pilot programs I believe Africa’s technological future will be defined not by access alone, but by ownership and creation.
