• Designed, trained, and launched seven real-time CVML models with 100M+ daily active users in production. Played key role and led cross-functional teams of 15+ research scientists, software engineers, product managers, legal counselors, creative directors, and contingent workers during multi-year AR/MR projects. Built internal fairness evaluation framework to statistically uncover data and AI model biases.
• Within my time in Reality Labs, I built next-generation light, fast, and low-power Deep Learning Computer Vision models for realtime Augmented & Mixed Reality applications across the Meta family of apps (Glasses, Oculus, Instagram, Messenger, Facebook, Spark...).
• As one of the founding engineers of the Generative AI organization, my team and I developed custom latent diffusion models (LDM) for “Imagine,” a multi-modal image generation and editing applications, pushing the boundaries of low-latency inference by bringing speed to the low seconds and ultimately launching in Meta.AI in 2024.

• Worked on state-of-the-art video object detection and visual tracking models. Designed compact, fast, and accurate Deep Learning architectures applied for autonomous cars, wearable AR, and mobile. Worked under Dr. Kurt Keutzer and Dr. Bichen Wu at the Aspire Lab.

• (Alexa AI team.) Worked on a named entity recognition and classification system using recurrent neural networks and weighted finite state transducers to help Alexa third party developers discover slot types and more rapidly develop Alexa skills. Designed a machine learning feedback loop (online training) that continuously fine-tuned statistical models with user interactions. Developed a self-updating Elasticsearch module that performed reverse lookups on 10M+ grammar entities.

• Revamped org's cloud deployment process by (1) automating and refactoring each step as modular, rules-independent microservices, (2) building a real-time, interactive web GUI that greatly improved devops workflow, and (3) designing a graph-based deployment workflow engine that is flexible, dynamic, and maintainable. These efforts resulted in 85% faster deployments and estimated savings of over 20,000 engineering hours per year.
