Let me say what most people in tech are dancing around: AI didn't make developers more valuable. It made the gap between engineers and developers wider than ever. Any mediocre dev can now ship a feature in an afternoon. That's not the problem. The problem is what happens 18 months later when nobody can read the codebase, tests don't exist, the domain model is a mess, and you need to rebuild everything, except now you've got 10x more code to untangle. AI is an amplifier. good practices can help you reach 100x productivity, bad ones will create technical debt at industrial scale. Non-technical HR cannot solve this, I do. What I do: I help companies finds the engineers worth hiring and filter out the ones who will cost you far more than their salary. I'm a software engineer / CTO with 15+ years of experience. I know what separates someone who writes code from someone who thinks in systems : Clean Architecture, DDD, TDD, etc. Those practices are not shiny, they don't promise to build an app with one magic prompt. But more importantly, they don't collaspe under real-world pressure. My thesis in one line: Code is now a deflationary asset. Engineering practices are not. Pryzm is a Layer 1 blockchain built entirely around yield. The core idea is that yield should be tradable, predictable, and composable. Think fixed income and yield curve mechanics from TradFi, rebuilt from scratch on-chain in the Cosmos ecosystem. Principal tokens, yield tokens, maturity dates, a custom AMM optimized for yield assets.
I was one of two frontend engineers on a protocol of this complexity, that meant owning a significant chunk of everything user-facing: the DEX interface, staking flows, yield trading, liquidity provision, wallet integrations, real-time on-chain data, built on Next.js, TypeScript, TanStack Query and Table, with CosmWasm and a lot of IBC at the blockchain layer.
The real challenge wasn't the code. It was making genuinely complex financial mechanics feel approachable to users who didn't have a Bloomberg terminal in their previous life. Abstracting yield tokenization into interfaces that don't require a whitepaper to navigate. That intersection : deep financial complexity, clean UX, reliable on-chain state management is where the interesting frontend problems live.

Astroport was the largest DEX on the Terra Luna ecosystem, until it decided to have an existential crisis and take the whole neighbourhood down with it. Timing, as they say, is everything.
Before the fireworks, I was part of the team building the UI/UX for a protocol handling hundreds of millions in daily volume. The work was technically serious: Next.js and TypeScript at the core, CosmWasm for smart contract interactions, wallet integrations, TanStack Query for server state and TanStack Table for complex data rendering.
Building on-chain interfaces is a different beast from standard web development. Async transaction states, wallet connection flows, real-time liquidity data, error handling when the blockchain just... doesn't respond, none of it fits neatly into conventional frontend patterns. You learn to think differently about state, latency, and failure modes.
The protocol collapsed. The code didn't.

Led development of an accessible banking solution designed for visually impaired users, addressing widespread issues with payment security and financial accessibility. Built a B2C mobile app that pairs with a Bluetooth/NFC-enabled payment card — developed in partnership with Thales — to vocalize and display the full payment flow in real time, giving users full control and transparency over their transactions.
Following market validation, spearheaded the pivot to B2B, working with nearly all major French banks to deliver the solution as white-label custom prototype apps integrated into their ecosystems.
