• Getting experience of retail sector, working with NYCO.
• Projects:
• OMS - Order management System.
• The existing processes for this loads were bit complex and consumes lot of resources which involves Java programs, Stored Procedures, flat files and BTEQs. To overcome this complexity and inefficiency to do near real-time data load for end-user reporting we have implemented this project.
• KPI - Key performance indicator.
• The scope of the project is to accommodate the details like the spending on designs and samples with the aggregated count of different levels of development stages so that they will have track of everything. The existing processes for this load are bit complex and consumes lot of resources which involves BTEQs and the outcome was also not perfect. To overcome this complexity and inefficiency data load for end-user reporting we have this project in place.
• Omniture:
• Omniture is an online marketing and web analytics business unit acquired by Adobe Systems. The scope of this project is to get the files from adobe analytics in FTF server after that ingesting it and placing into Informatica source file directory and process them using ETL into data warehouse. After successfully loading the data into data warehouse we are archiving the files.
• Shoppers Track:
• The scope of the project is to track real time traffic in stores for analysing business and to promote new offers based on traffic in & out to attract more customers. The system is getting input data from API which is in XML format and processing into Stage tables while applying business rules regarding time zone and DST for different locations. Here we are also maintaining control table to control the job and API timings. Generally, API data we are getting in each 15 minutes of interval. Then the system will load this data into Core tables.

• Project: FBI-GDW -: Finance Business Intelligence - Group Data Warehouse
• Its a very nice experience to work directly with Client,Architect and Testing team. Its really a motivating,exiting and challenging task to gather the business requirement and proceed accordingly. Getting a nice experience of ETL Architecture, ETL Development, Teradata and Shell Scripting.
