• As an intern in Reliance India Foundation, my role was to assess the implementation of various Social Security Schemes in the model blocks or bolangir district of odisha.
• I made an assessment of the schemes, beneficiary selecting mechanism for various schemes, and the flaws in the process. The suggestions and research that I made during the internship helped the district and block administrarion in making the local governance more inclusive and they are still being referred to by the local administration and civil societies for making policy decisions in that area.
• This internship gave me a fair Idea of the interplay of market, government and society in delivering good governance.
