About

As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, I am dedicated to advancing the field of computational spintronics and exploring the vast potential of emerging devices in neuromorphic computing. My academic journey began with a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, where I delved into the intricacies of spin transport phenomena in Magnetic Tunnel Junctions (MTJ) using the non-equilibrium Green's function (NEGF) approach, and later, investigated magnetic skyrmions through the micromagnetic framework (OOMMF). Following my doctoral studies, I expanded my research horizons as a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS). There, I focused on the stochastic behavior of emerging memory devices using the Fokker-Planck approach. I also explored the innovative applications of magnetic devices like skyrmions and domain-wall-based devices in implementing artificial neurons and synapses for spiking neural networks (SNN). My current research interests lie at the intersection of hardware and algorithm co-design for SNN architectures. I also aim to solve complex optimization problems using these cutting-edge technologies. With a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of spintronics and neuromorphic computing, I am passionate about driving forward the next generation of computational technologies.
