About

At Experian, my leadership in Cloud and Application Attack Surface Management culminates from a focused expertise in cybersecurity strategy and execution. My global team is dedicated to improving the security posture of applications and cloud infrastructure, employing cutting-edge tools and processes for Cloud Security Posture Management, Application Security and Attack Surface Management. Our collective efforts have significantly reduced Experian’s attack surface, fortifying resilience to cyber threats. Prior to my current vice presidency, my tenure as Regional Information Security Officer (RISO) bridged the gap between cyber security and business interests. I constantly interacted with C-level executives and led strategic Cybersecurity projects. This foundation enabled the successful implementation of an Attack Surface Management function that has enhanced enterprise-wide security. My pragmatic approach to vulnerability management is underpinned by a threat-informed risk stratification methodology, ensuring that the most critical vulnerabilities are prioritized and addressed promptly. Prior to Experian, I worked in a variety of industries and held several positions including the Director of Portfolio Management at United Health Group, Director Product Management at Garda World and VP Operations at Guidance. I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from UC Irvine. I am originally from Brazil, where I started my career as a software engineer.
