Most UIs ship fast. Very few actually feel good to use. That gap is what I think about more than anything else. I'm Pankaj, a Frontend Engineer working with React, Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind. Over the last 2.7 years I've shipped production apps that improved UI performance by 25 to 40 percent and built open source tools including Sonner Patterns and Nexus Dark, a VS Code theme with 1k+ downloads on Open VSX. I care about the details most engineers move past. Component architecture, render performance, the small interactions that make a product feel alive instead of just functional.
