Brian DePersiis is a Principal within EY’s Cybersecurity Consulting practice and has over 20 years of experience in the areas of cybersecurity, risk management, governance, IT internal audit, third party security risk management (TPSRM) and data protection and privacy consulting services. He is focused on helping clients implement cyber resiliency programs with a broader focus on cyber risk management initiatives including regulatory, audit and compliance initiatives. Brian works closely with his clients to transform cybersecurity risk management programs to better address critical cybersecurity and data privacy related risks – with a specific focus on using the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (“CSF”) as a leading practice model and providing security focused insights relevant to large system implementations. He has a successful track record of helping clients within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and Biotechnology sectors. Brian also serves as the EY Americas Cybersecurity Strategy Leader. In this role, he works closely with client’s Boards and C-suite executives to discuss the importance of their cyber risk management investments and weigh in on the development of their strategic priorities.
