Project Description: It is basically a Datacom project, which works on wireless standards 802.11. In this project Wi-Fi services is provided through the use of access controllers and access points. Access points are used to provide Internet services to the client via Internet network, where Controller are used to manage and configure these access points. These controllers can make upto a team of 5 members to support redundancy. The controller and Ap’s can we configured by 4 user interfaces i.e Web, SNMP, SOAP and CLI, all these user interfaces are connected through a confighandler module which will perform config validation before application. The system support’s authentication such as HTML , Mac based, local and free RADIUS. It provide high grade of security through the wireless encryption standard like WEP, WPA , WPA2, TKIP and CCMP. IPC is accomplished using Socket programming with the use of TCP/UDP/Unix sockets.
Highlights:
 I was working on Wireless Domain (802.11) technology, where I had additionally learnt about basic L2/L3 Layer
switching concepts,Vlan, IP concepts, DHCP.
