Was part of the OneNote team, in the MS Office Division.
Particularly was part of the team that managed the custom-view based Canvas that supports multiple types of content simultaneously.
1. Project Airspace:
Worked on bringing in new frameworks to handle touch interactions and window properties. Also got exposure to the Rendering stack libraries and Rich Text Input Handling. This huge movement also bought in a significant number of bugs and I personally solved 40 of them.
2. Features Delivered: ( Designing, Coding and Testing were the core responsibilities)
Enabling Undo/Redo for OneNote Android by consuming the Undo/Redo stack shared across all platforms.
Enabling Content Rich Cut, Copy, Paste, Select-All operations by consuming the Microsoft specific clipboard library that is shared across all platforms and Microsoft Apps.
Re-Designed the Context Menu on the Canvas. With this, I got my first opportunity to work on the UI aspect of the App.
Enabling Equation Support for OneNote Android.
Redesign the VM and View for Share-A-Page feature. This work involved working with the geometrical transformations that were sent from the Model in order to be worked upon by the UI.
Bringing Canvas Accessibility to MAS-C compliance. This task involved that ensuring that the model maintained its copy of the accessibility tree that Android used for Outlining and Talkback purposes.
3. Telemetry:
Monitored and prepared monthly Funnel reports for New User Signups by writing queries in Kusto and Avocado to figure out at what stage users drop out from the app. Later converted this to an automated script..
