Architected scalable solutions for freebie identification, implemented space-optimized duplicate detection using bloom filtering, and established promotion platform integration across global teams. Delivered high-performance plugins meeting critical path latency requirements while ensuring regulatory compliance for zero-price items. Successfully launched in October 2023, driving projected GMS of 1500M INR through secure, abuse-resistant promotional infrastructure.
• 2. Led the development of an automated freebie promotion system at Amazon, revolutionizing the Buy X Get Y customer experience. Successfully navigated complex legacy systems and cross-team dependencies to implement automatic addition of promotional items at checkout. The project involved deep diving into 5000+ lines of legacy Perl Mason code, ensuring zero-latency impact, and maintaining backward compatibility. Delivered critical functionality for Jupiter 2022 event with 100% unit test coverage, driving a 1.31% increase in Order Placement Success.
