Hey, I am currently working as a Senior Software Engineer in Confluent. Working in Kafka Connect team currently. Prior to this, I worked as software development engineer-3 at Gojek Tech. At Gojek, I was responsible for delivering features and services, on top of given PRDs. Experienced in taking full ownership of the development cycle, right from writing Tech Spec, and ADRs, to taking the feature in prod. Have led multiple consumer-facing features from the backend development front, which have been very well received by drivers and customers. Have also taken care of engineering heavy projects, like DB migration from one service to another, with changes in the existing stack. I was also very active at Prod Support. Had worked on building and implementing a number of SOPs, that have helped in reducing the MTTRs and incident count. I love going deep into issues, finding and fixing the root cause of problems that our customers or any stakeholders face. I majorly build systems at scale in Golang, followed by Ruby and Clojure. I strongly believe in TDD. TDD makes my code modular, simple, and easy to understand. Proven ability to be a quick learner. Apart from this, I have past experience in Python and Machine Learning as well. I love playing chess and solving puzzles. Accepting challenges is my skill. My interest lies in brainstorming algorithmic coding problems. Learning and improving on design principles day by day.
