A comprehensive study was done for development procedure of IoT product using SAP HANA Cloud platform. In the current scenario, I utilized an Arduino mini board with use of a sensor board in order to collect data from temperature and light sensors. Arduino mini was hardwired in Arduino IDE using C language. The data from these sensors was obtained from a serial port by using a Java program in which I used the jSerialComm library of Java language. Then this port information was sent to SAP HCP using the same Java code in the real time.
I wrote an SAPUI5 program in eclipse using HTML and JS that displayed three major pages relevant to the information. A welcome page identified as Intro page introduced the user to the developed platform. Master page displayed the entries obtained from SAP HCP in a list format. Each entry from this page redirected to the Details page, where complete description about the data can be viewed.
