  • As a Device Driver Developer, I worked extensively on the Synopsys MAC (stmmac) driver and Intel RST/VMD driver. My key contributions include:
  • 1. Enhanced the throughput of the controller for both UDP and TCP protocols, leading to significant performance improvements.
  • 2. Implemented critical features like Wake-on-LAN (WOL) and Auto-Negotiation on Intel IOTG platforms like Elkhart Lake, Alder Lake and Raptor Lake.
  • 3. Created a KMDF-based intermediate driver to facilitate communication between the stmmac driver and the kernel. This driver handled IOCTL calls to set Auto-Negotiation registry settings, overcoming the limitations of the original stmmac driver.
  • 4. Had a key role in the development of the long pending industrial request of Hot-plug feature for Intel's Tiger Lake client platform. This feature, developed from scratch, addressed a critical industrial demand and potentially contributed to sales revenue of $100 million.
  • 5. Worked closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and address complex issues.
