About

I am a pre-final year Mathematics and Computing undergraduate at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, pursuing a Dual Degree integrated Masters course. I'm currently looking for internship opportunities for the summers of 2020 in the fields of Software Development and Machine/Deep Learning. I interned at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Grenoble in the summers of 2019, where I worked under Professor Marco Congedo on developing a Julia package for applying Machine Learning models directly on data in the manifold of positive definite matrices. I also co-authored the paper along with Professor Congedo, presenting the project work titled "A Julia Package for Manipulating Brain Computer Interface Data in the Manifold of Positive Definite Matrices". The paper was accepted at the 2019 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics (SMC). During my intern at CNRS, I also worked on Transfer Learning in Brain-Computer Interface. I implemented MCA (Maximum Covariance Analysis that exploits SVD of matrices) for data synchronisation and achieved better performance than other state of the art methods. The results will be showcased in an upcoming paper. In the summers of 2018 I interned as a research intern under Prof. D.
