• ETLM: Worked on redesigning legacy ETL platform to reduce the operational burden caused by a 20+ year old
• system. Added features to enable customers to create/update/delete alarms on their ETL jobs with one-click instead
• of having to manually track all jobs.
• Dataset Tagging: As part of Digital Marketing Act, added feature to the search experience to allow dataset owners
• to tag their datasets to comply with the correct access restrictions based on the criticality of the data.
• Front-end: Worked on multiple UI projects: Redesigned the experience to allow dataset owners to input custom
• troubleshooting urls for customers to reach out to them, by leveraging graphQL with Dynamodb and building the
• front end for it as well. This eliminated the operational burden and manual deployment in favor of a self-service
• approach. Additionally worked on modernizing various components of the UI by leveraging micro-front ends. Also
• worked on reducing the latency of the most visited page by 70% from 10secs to 3 secs
• AWS: Worked on upgrading search indexers from on-premise servers to leverage AWS Cloud architecture. This
• improved the observability of the code through cloudwatch logging and step functions. Also reduced ops load by
• leveraging best practices like horizontal scaling and parallelization in the updated indexing architecture.
• Observability: Added metrics and dashboards regarding all the external calls from our indexer. This helped triage
• over 10 high severity issues using just a couple of graphs and dropped the time resolve these issues from a day to a
• couple of hours.
