• Events platform - Service for ingestion of billions of events on a daily basis, powerful real-time search capabilities and real-time computation and serving of metrics.
• Working with events platform team has granted me an in-depth understanding of real-time distributed data processing systems.
• Worked on job framework which is responsible for lifecycle management of data stored in elastic search. Solved failures, concurrency and throttling problems.
• Solved single point of failure from one of the service(Zookeeper) and improved resiliency of the platform.
• Responsible for managing Elastic Search backups and recovery during incidents when we faced data loss.
• Dealing with regular on-call issues has grated me the intricacies of the challenges/solutions of realtime and high available systems, gained sharp debugging skills while fixing business critical systems.
