Analysis and implementation of Deep Neural Network based Text to Speech (TTS) system
This projects aimed to optimize the deep neural network based methods of speech synthesis to make it friendlier to embedded device.
The work involved code study and analysis of one of the popular TTS systems followed by code update to improve the memory and cycles footprint of the TTS systems. It resulted in lower energy of the overall system. Objective test methods were developed to ensure that the quality of synthesized speech was maintained during this process.
