• As a Sr. Software Developer, apart from my regular tasks, I'm mentoring my peers on Design Principles of REST API and Loosely-Coupled Architecture with a focus on observability aspects (reporting, alerting, logging) of the service.

• My goal has been to re-build the inventory system to be scalable, resilient, low latent, and accurate. I built the system from scratch in a loosely coupled and distributed way. The system is a truly multi-tenant, fully scalable cloud-based service deployed on Azure's infrastructure and designed around a RESTful architecture, using a judicious mix of Golang, Python, SaltStack, Kafka, and NoSQL (MongoDB). This system drastically reduced the data latency from hours to seconds with observability of the system using NewRelic and Splunk.
• In this tenure, I designed the architecture (backend) of a customer-facing portal (control panel) that is used by customers to do administration of their product in a self-serve way. The system is a truly multi-tenant, fully scalable cloud-based service deployed on Azure's infrastructure and designed around a RESTful architecture, using a judicious mix of Golang, Python, Java, and SQL (PostgreSQL).
• I designed the Security Middleware using the Spring Security Filter to authenticate and authorize requests of end-users. A web service was also built-in Go to fulfill the administration on the customer's instance.

• Worked on building Adobe Campaign Product Release Automation API that is used by the stakeholders (Program Managers, SREs) to deploy the build in customers' production instances.
• Quickly learned Django Framework and Celery to perform these operations in a decoupled manner.
• Also, built an intuitive UI for ease of access to the system by the stakeholders showing the reporting aspect also helpful in the release creation.
• In another project, I built a self-service portal for the internal teams to perform quick actions over the infrastructure in order to avoid back & forth between various teams. The portal provides capabilities to pull the database (PostgreSQL) insights, sftp management, and product configs.

• Primarily worked in python to build a pluggable monitoring agent (code: witness) to observe and alert the behavior of the application. It generates events that are captured by Nagios and Splunk to alert about the health of services.
• In this period, I also got an opportunity to work with the configuration of Bind-based DNS Servers, Protocols (ssh/sftp), and Linux-based firewalls on OpenBSD (packet filter). The configuration of these services was made using Ansible Configuration Management Tool.
