Akash is currently working as a Software Development Engineer in Test at PayPal, Hyderabad focusing on Fraud Protection and Prevention. Currently working in UI Automation using Cypress, API Automation and Manual Testing. As part of leading the UI and API Automation, Akash continued increasing the coverage of Functional Tests. Akash also implemented Mocking in UI FTs to reduce the runtime of tests by 45% overall and reduced the run time of both UI & Backend Tests by implementing parallelization. Akash also Integrated Mocha Reporter with Cypress FTs. Akash is also working as a backend developer for Fraud Protection Advanced application which helps in detecting fraudulent transactions leading to higher revenues and lower chargebacks.
