Building Microsoft To-Do (formerly Wunderlist)
My team built and operated the back-end service for Microsoft To Do, integrating with the rest of Microsoft's ecosystem and maintained the existing Wunderlist app back-end. Main projects and responsibilities:
Technical and project lead of our solution for migrating users from the old app (Wunderlist) into the Microsoft ecosystem.
Our migration process brought in more than 500K new users!
I designed and implemented the team's Suggested Tasks API, in collaboration with various partners around the globe. This API enables AI experiences like suggesting tasks from email or your personal assistant and handles more than 100M hourly calls.
In addition, I lead the back-end team for a few months, mentored and helped onboard new engineers and coordinated closely with our remote office in India.
