I am Pooja Gera, a fervent believer in the transformative power of technology. I am currently working as a Software Engineer at Google and previously, I worked with Palo Alto Networks as a Software Engineer and Microsoft as a Software Engineering Intern. Graduating from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women in 2023 with a B.Tech in Information Technology, I proudly received the Silver Plaque for Exemplary Performance for getting a GPA of 9.01 and the Rising Star Award for working towards the collective success of my peers and juniors in academics and hackathons. I have always been fascinated by the potential and the power an engineer holds in their hands. A few days with a cup of coffee, scribbled sketches on the desk, StackOverflow and lots of ideation is the mix that gives birth to a product that will impact generations across the globe. As a hands-on engineer, I love to explore the vast array of technologies that are available for us to tinker with. I like not restricting myself with a language or a framework but rather pushing myself to learn something new on the go as and when required. I enjoy building web apps and chatbots.
