• Single-handedly developed a pivotal feature in Illustrator Web to detect installation status of Illustrator Desktop application on a system and further enabling dynamic adjustments to other dependent workflows - this facilitated targeted user migration from web to desktop and enriching overall user experience.
• Implemented a robust access request tracking system in Illustrator Web, eliminating redundancy and enhancing user permissions management, resulting in a more streamlined and efficient workflow.
• Integrated Adobe’s universal notification panel into Illustrator Web, significantly boosting user engagement by providing in-app access to collaboration, approval and other notifications.
• Drove performance enhancements in Adobe Illustrator web by leveraging WebGPU, successfully implementing a text rendering pipeline that reduced rendering time by ∼55%, outperforming traditional WebGL, Metal and DirectX methods.
• Assumed responsibility for the invitation service error handling, which subsequently expanded to include the implementation of retry mechanisms for invitation service calls which stabilized the request-access workflow by 44%.
• Revamped Adobe Illustrator Web’s automation framework by implementing test recording capabilities, enabling Safari browser support, streamlining rerun and selective test mechanisms, and integrating comprehensive test analytics with New Relic.
