• I was the technical lead for 2 critical teams in Ola.
• 1. Safety Engineering Team (9 members team) (2018-2021)
• Ola Guardian: I lead the building and scaling of this project from 'Proof of Concept' to a full production grade architecture with 14 micro-services. It took real time data from cab rides and used AI to detect and assess risks during trips.
• This was a very innovative product, first of its kind in the industry which was later adapted by others in mobility industry as well. This product had a significant social impact and greatly reduced the amount of harassment, molestation and rape cases in OLA rides.
• Covid selfie mask verification: AI model that validated selfies to ensure cab drivers are wearing masks during covid. The feature was rolled out across all countries as well as made public via APIs to govt of India.
• SOS integration with police authorities in India to instantly share relevant data to police in emergency situations.
• Facial authentication of drivers to ensure only registered drivers were driving.
• 2. Peak pricing (5 members). (2020-2021)
• Responsible for real time calculation of peaks/dips in cab fares based on real time supply, demand as well as price determination using AI models that factored in historic data.
• I also worked on some experimental projects in OLA.
• Machine Learning based driver document validator and classifier using tensorflow for automating the process of validating driver documents and onboarding them to the platform.

• Worked in a globally spread out tech team (all working remotely from Brazil, Canada, India and USA) for a profitable startup in the education domain that handled around 3 million study documents and over a million users in the USA.
• I was the first hire for the company in India and helped the company establish their tech presence in the country by recruit more engineers and setting up tech teams in India.

• I fully owned and led the development of features and later maintenance of driver's backend codebase.
• The company (and its products) were later acquired by Zomato (Unicorn in India) and it enabled them to launch food deliveries in India. The tech products we build still continues to form the foundation of Zomato's tech behind food delivery at a large scale.

• As the CTO, I lead the tech vision and planning behind building an innovative online sourcing and assessment portal to help companies in their tech recruitment process.
• We catered to over 80 corporate clients and helped in screening of over 10,000 candidates. Finally, we took an early exit in May 2015 by getting acquired by ZobTree Ventures Pvt Ltd where I led the integration of the product (May-Aug 2015).
