  • 3. Eclipse Plugin for PayPal Java Rest Service
  • • Developed a prototype for a helix plugin as a part of the PayPal productivity Hackathon . The plugin could automate various configuration tasks and reduced the development time by around 25%.
  • • This emerged as a winner for the hackathon and we turned the same into a full fledged working solution.

  • Worked for the Apertium community to develop a Hindi to English Rule based Translation engine.
  • • Implemented python scripts to crawl the web and extracted a Hindi English Corpus. Also implemented some scripts to develop Hindi monolingual dictionary and Hindi-English Bilingual dictionary which had a coverage of about 95%.
  • • Designed and implemented various grammar rules for the translation engine.
  • • Fine tuned the translation engine to work for this language pair
  • • Extracted and analzed a large dataset to come up with more rules for the translation engine
  • •Was able to move the project from incubation to the nursery stage in the list of Apertium projects
  • • Will be mentoring a student in GSOC 2014 to make the project ready for release.
