I never envisioned myself working as a Software Engineer until one day I found myself taking a C++ coding class. As the semester went on, I enjoyed the class, I found it fun to make small programs that I could visually see execute (even as simple as multiplying and printing a number to the terminal). Once I began registering for my next semesters classes, I realized that I was bummed out I wouldn’t be taking another coding class, so I did what any person would do. Changed my major to Computer Science and began taking classes I enjoyed. Fast forward to now, I am working at Netflix. I am currently a part of the Online Data Stores team working on Distributed Systems.
