Currently serving as a Sr. Lead Engineer for Linux Kernel Development at Qualcomm Innovation Centre (QUIC). I am part of the Linux Kernel Baseport team, focusing on the bring-up and maintenance of Qualcomm Automotive Chipsets. My Linux Kernel expertise spans various drivers & related skillsets, including but not limited to - Watchdog, Pinctrl & GPIO (TLMM), IPCC, LLCC, Reboot/Poweroff, devicetree overlays (DTBOs), kernel debugging (ramdump collection/analysis), out-of-tree drivers/devicetrees, and the Android bootloader (ABL). I am also proficient in the Yocto build system for creating custom Linux kernel-based distributions. In my role, I lead efforts in the areas of Linux kernel - development, maintenance, upgrades, build, integration and debugging. I also provide innovative solutions for new customer requirements and ensure seamless integration of new features. I actively participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and guiding engineers on best practices. My work involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, to address complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement in our processes. Additionally, in my previous experiences, I have worked with firms dedicated to providing cutting edge Networking & Telecom Solutions. I have contributed to advanced platform solutions, leveraging - Networking, Linux, and Cloud Technologies. My areas of development at these jobs included research and development around - Virtualization, Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), Fast Path (DPDK, VPP), and Intel-specific tools (SRIOV, Cache Allocation Technology, CNI Plugins). I also worked on Realtime Kernel practices, VMs, Containers, Cgroups, CentOS/RHEL, custom kernel building/patching, Makefiles, and the Kconfig build system.
