• Through this program, I was able to develop skills and knowledge in sales, computer networking, programmability, computer security, and much more.
• One such project, our Capstone Presentation, led to my team developing a solution for the city of Durham's transportation issues, resulting in a first-place finish and adding to my knowledge of addressing a customer's problem in a creative and innovative manner.
• Other projects include the Retail Challenge in which my team pitched a connected IoT to monitor a store's inventory, improve the experience of their fitting rooms, and enhance worker productivity.
• My team and I worked on researching the city of Chicago and pitched an informative session which relayed the importance of network infrastructure in Chicago and their growing tech industry, earning a first-place prize.
• From all of these sessions, projects, and workshops I was able to connect with roots of sales and presentational success, enriching me with the proper ways to research and devise a truly helpful solution for the customer. Absolutely loved the experience and externship!
