Hi, I am Prerona Chaudhuri, a passionate GPU compiler engineer with over 5 years experience. Passionate because, I always wanted to code compilers and NVIDIA helped me realize this dream. In my career so far, I have worked with proprietary compiler codebase and currently working with LLVM infrastructure. Thanks to my job role at NVIDIA, I also have a fair understanding of the NVIDIA GPU architectures and the assembly. I have manageable knowledge of WHQL, CUDA and ptx as well. In the past 5 years at NVIDIA, I have coded compiler support for various GPU features – including supporting code generation for a new assembly instructions, enhancing synchronization algorithm etc. As biproducts of working with large compiler codebase and great compiler engineers, I have acquired various hard skills like vim, linux commands, git, perforce and installing GPU drivers. Apart from office, I am grateful to volunteer for a couple of things which have helped me grow in a lot of ways 1.) NV-WIT (NVIDIA Women In Tech) India. 2.) LLVM social Bangalore (co-organizer) 3.) Innovations In Compiler Technology - IICT, Compiler conference (co-organizer) I am also passionate about graphics designing and manage the video editing of my mother's Youtube channels on Indian Classical Music.
