• I am a big fan of rapid prototyping and favor RESTful interfaces, wherever feasible, for service-to-service interactions
• Designed and deployed highly scalable and resilient Go-based microservices that run on Kubernetes clusters to support a globally distributed base of 1000s of enterprise customers
• Developed a secure OIDC-based AuthZ and AuthN model that lowers friction for users while still ensuring laser-sharp RBAC to achieve secure multi-tenancy across the Splunk Cloud Control Plane

• Led a team of 5+ engineers responsible for launching the first iteration of the Splunk SmartStore capability that, for the first time in the history of the product, decoupled compute and storage
• Retrofitted and redeployed a constellation of 15 microservices that were built for the pre-SmartStore era to uptake SmartStore functionality
• Built integrations with half-a-dozen AWS APIs ranging from S3 and KMS to IAM and DynamoDB to fully leverage SmartStore and introduce a novel, zero-touch, self-healing capability to the indexing tier of the Splunk Cloud
• Led a multi-year, cross-functional effort spanning several Orgs - from Web Marketing, IT Engineering, and Cloud Infrastructure to leverage SmartStore and provision low-cost Cloud Trials for free to 1000s of users at the push of a button on the splunk.com home page

• Worked on building a secure infrastructure to support the rapid growth of the award-winning Splunk Enterprise product as a cloud-based service.
• Primarily worked with Python(Flask) on developing a microservices architecture that can orchestrate the provisioning of Splunk Enterprise on AWS.

• Scaled BrightRoll's Adserving infrastructure to the next level - to handle over 10s of billions of ad requests each day without a linear increase in data center costs.
• Redesigned our legacy AdServing APIs to onboard multiple Supply Side and Demand Side partners to unlock millions of dollars in additional revenue each quarter, with no increase in infrastructure costs.
• Built services written in C(with libevent/libevhtp), Ruby on Rails, and a lot of Puppet manifests to hold everything together.
• I love monetizing the last computational cycle out of each of our data center installations - whether it is using Icinga to optimize memory usage or using advanced machine learning techniques to improve Ad campaign performance.

• Co-architected and developed a feature that can improve I/O latency on NetApp storage arrays by preemptively identifying new media errors on hard drives through targeted scans in the vicinity of known media errors.
• Developed a software component that records drive errors on customer arrays and reports information back to NetApp for analysis, saving NetApp hundreds of thousands of dollars each quarter by avoiding “No-Fault-Found” drive return penalties.
