Design and development of personalization platform for over 1 billion user profiles and over 300 million daily usage events among all Adobe products across all channels/surfaces, based on the past user activities, profiles and dynamically defined user segments in real time. Some of the features which i worked on are Stitching users identities across different devices both logged and logged out to serve a unified experience. With tremendous growth in platform adoption, Scaling turned out to be challenged when Dynamo tables started to explode from 20TB to 500TB in just over a year along with maintaining strict SLA of 300ms for Inbound calls. I have re-designed certain components to handle the scale and keep a check to the increasing platform cost. Designed cleanup jobs to identify and truncate old data from the system without affecting real-time performance. Enforced standard code hygiene techniques in the team along with CI/CD which increases team's efficiency multifold.
