• I am currently working with the Inventory Health team under Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA), which operates as a global organization supporting approximately 20 marketplaces including US, EU, IN, SA, and other international regions.
• My team manages mission-critical, Tier-1 services that operate at massive scale, handling 1-2 million transactions per second to support sellers worldwide.
• My team is responsible for monitoring and managing the complete inventory lifecycle journey for Amazon sellers globally. We aggregate and process inventory data from multiple distributed systems into a unified data layer, leveraging technologies such as OpenSearch, DynamoDB, Apache Flink, and Apache Kafka to deliver real-time insights through the Amazon Seller Central portal.
• Our scope extends beyond simply displaying inventory data—we provide AI/ML-driven recommendations to help sellers make informed decisions about restocking, inbounding, and inventory removal, ensuring they maintain optimal inventory health while minimizing storage costs.
• We also help sellers proactively clear aged inventory by providing solutions to create sales promotions and outlet deals for products that have been residing in fulfillment centers for extended periods, helping them optimize storage costs and improve inventory turnover.
• Our platform offers real-time geographical tracking of inventory, generates automated reports on inventory stocks and sales performance, and leverages machine learning models to provide predictive analytics that help sellers prepare for peak demand periods.
• I am currently leading the design and development of a next-generation platform aimed at significantly transforming and enhancing the overall seller experience, building upon our expertise in constructing highly scalable distributed systems.

• Amazon Rentals is an alternate consumption option for customers who do not want to buy/own products or prefer to use them temporarily. It provides customers access to products for shorter duration at a lower price. Rental inventory is utilized multiple times over its lifespan which maximizes its usage potential and in turn also benefits the planet.
• The technology supports multiple business models for Amazon owned and Third Party inventory.
• I Worked on the design of platform from scratch to be Retail category and Business model agnostic in Amazon.
• The platform takes care of Rentals Listing, Pricing, Selection, Fraud Prevention and Ordering all the way to Item Logistics, Grading and Repair of Rental Returns. It includes Life Cycle Management of Rental Items all the way from initial Rental to short term and long term extensions and buyouts.

• I led the requirement analysis, design, and development of a number of component and ~24 highly scalable and available services of category and business model-agnostic Rentals By Amazon (RBA) platform.
• Collaborated with XX+ internal/external teams ranging from the shopping experience, ordering, fulfillment, Payment, Accounting and reverse logistics organizations.
• This platform serves as a foundation of $X00M+ Amazon Rentals business for one single category(TextBooks) and later extended to multiple categories including Camera, Musical instruments.
• Envisioned and developed platform to power a business growth in Rentals to $XXXM in 4 years
• Worked on a number of small improvements and compliance for the Rental platform, including tax, GDPR, data security and fraud detection.
• Recently Led and guided a team of three college graduates in analyzing, designing, and developing a solution to maximize rental reverse logistics shipping in terms of time, effort, and cost. Reduced reverse logistics time by 60% while reducing on-site operation effort by 50%.
