I am a post production professional with many years of experience of managing and delivering award winning large feature films to the major LA studios. This primarily included the management and coordination of the editorial, sound and DI departments as well as close collaboration with visual effects vendors, animation studios and other third party vendors. I was responsible for the detailed scheduling, and staffing of all post production departments as well as the creation and execution of the post production workflow from capture to delivery - the most notable example being Mad Max: Fury Road (Academy Awards for all major post production categories - Best Editing, Best Sound and Best Sound Mixing). A large part of my responsibilities on all features has been the successful delivery to the studios on schedule and on budget. These deliveries involved the full panoply of formats for theatrical, home video and OTT streaming as well as meeting their strict archival guidelines. I am familiar with the post production industries in LA and London with contacts at the major studios and vendors and would bring those long-time relationships to bear in any position.

  • Starting from pre-production I designed the complete post pipeline from initial delivery of renders from each department, through the management and transport of cuts in and out of editorial across the production, to the final conform and delivery of the film in digital and 35mm formats.
  • This was done in conjunction with the Digital Supervisors to develop software tools to integrate shots directly into the edit, to disseminate cuts back to departments via XML-based methods as well as tools to maintain sync between voice recordings, individual character mocap data and sequences within editorial.
  • The finishing of the film was handled in conjunction with the Finishing Superviser where another workflow was developed to allow a simultaneous DI in Sydney whilst preparing the final DCP and Film outputs in LA.
