Master thesis within the area of Air traffic Management at AVTECH Sweden AB in Stockholm.
I worked within the area of Operational Research: simulating Controlled time of Arrival (CTA) approaches to Dubai International Airport using Monte Carlo simulations, and analyzed how this could increase the capacity while simultaneously maintaining the current safety regulations defined for the airspace of Dubai. The thesis was presented in Stockholm as well as in Dubai for the department executives of Dubai Airports.
During my time at AVTECH I was also involved in conducting statistical analysis of wake turbulence encounters in Dubai's airspace, trying to find trends in the data and incident encounter hot spots.
