Technical Lead: Audio drivers
Responsible for technical direction of Linux audio drivers for Intel DSP based SoCs. Spearheading the design, implementation and upstreaming efforts for Audio drivers employed in Linux desktops OS based systems like Ubuntu Fedora etc, Chromebooks, Android Tablets, Phones etc.
Worked on ALSA HDA refactoring, created extended HDA framework for use in Intel DSP based audio drivers. Co-designed topology framework and its use in Intel Audio drivers. Used ASoC DAPM for DSP modelling and topology creation.
Compressed offload:
Designed and authored the ALSA compressed offload extensions for supporting offloading of compressed audio formats to audio DSP. Wrote tinycompress library and usermode APIs for compressed audio offload which was integrated into Android. Maintaining tinycompress library.
Maintainer of Linux Kernel DMAengine:
Wrote dmaengine driver for Intel SoCs, maintained slave dmaengine extensions and now whole dmaengine subsystem in Linux Kernel.
