About

Founder of FlexibleIR - A Cyber security Incident Response platform. Used by cyber analysts and incident handlers from over 60+ countries. Experience our playbooks live at https://playbooks.flexibleir.com . FlexibleIR is part of Cyber London CYLON program, Singapore ICE71 scale program and seed funded by Singtel Innov8 and NUS Enterprise . Flexible provides an end-to-end cyber incident response building capabilities for enterprises and also very ideal for security service providers(MSSPs). We provide playbooks which documents processes to solve cyber incidents timely and decisively. These playbooks are customised as per the customer needs. Goal is to produce tailored playbooks that you can trust. We use simple tools like Trello , Slack and google sheets to bring in the transformation. No need to learn yet another tool. We have simplified the process of playbook creation. We work very closely with country wide CERTs and presented papers at first.org Some of key challenges FlexibleIR is solving in cyber security incident response: 1. Playbooks are key for cyber defense in every enterprise and describe the tasks to do during a specific incident. Every enterprise has their own set of playbooks. They have to build them from scratch, audit them and regularly update them. They are not shared. 2. Core - How does a CISO trust the playbooks? 3. Enterprises are rapidly moving towards SOAR platforms. Successful Implementation of SOAR Solutions can be Delayed for Years (IACD). Current Orchestration tools tend to have have proprietary GUI/UX for playbook/workflows. A lock in (creating 100s of playbooks) with one SOAR vendor can be very risky for an enterprise. I have strong experience in building products at Sun Microsystems, Intel, Novell, HP, Yahoo,Tesco, Savaari (Cab aggregator), Swiggy (Food delivery). Strong leadership skills to build and manage large teams. Specialties: Distributed systems, Cloud adoption and workload migration, Mobile, Machine Learning, Scalable web application development. Unix, C, C++, Php & Java. Operating systems and Storage.
