  • It was a great experience being a delegate in the 5 day intensive program on international relations and diplomacy conducted by Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL) and Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership (IIGL).
  • The first four days consisted of interactive sessions with 42 speakers who were serving ambassadors, spokespersons, prominent academicians and members of think tanks. The sessions were packed with information and lots of learning. I gained insight into the art of diplomacy, the foreign policy of India, its place in the world, where it is now and where India is headed.
  • On the fifth day a field trip was organised, where we visited Sulabh International headquarters, Korean Cultural center, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Lal Bahadur Shastri memorial and Akshardham temple.
  • I also had wonderful interactions with my fellow delegates who came from various parts of the country, including an international delegate. It was a mix of students and professionals belonging to diverse fields such as international relations, law, commerce and engineering.
